Avarus

There are two known bands called Avarus

1. Avarus are a free-folk/free improvisation collective from Tampere, Finland that has between 10-20 members at any given time. They were formed in 2001 by members of The Anaksimandros and Pylon and soon absorbed members of other Finnish bands such as Kiila, Munuaissymposium 1960, Kemialliset Ystävät. They are considered to be the most important group of the finnish free-folk scene.
