Street Change

Street Change’s unique and infectious sound draws upon emotionally driven vocals blended with a 60’s musical style and arranged with a 90s alt-rock influence. The band began as a duo in the fall of 2013, with guitarist Nate Falardeau and singer Madeline LaPorte. After recording Street Change’s acoustically driven debut album, “Set Free”, with Tom LeBeau, the three decided to form a trio. The additional of Tom, a seasoned multi-instrumentalist, allowed the group to incorporate bass and percussion into their live set. As the Street Change sound grew, Nate started stomping on a bass drum while continuing to play the acoustic guitar. Madeline began playing keyboard, while maintaining her role as lead singer, and Tom was able to bring his voice to the group, leading to beautiful harmonies. After several shows charming patrons of coffee shops and bars across New England, the group released a new record, "Gone Downtown" 7/11/15. Building upon the humble simplicity and catchy tunes of “Set Free”, Gone Downtown was created through a collaboration between all three members. Shedding their former identity as an acoustic act, Street Change is constantly creating new ways to expand the sound of their live show.
