Willie was under doctor's orders and didn't perform, but his son and band played anyway, they did not disappoint. Bob Dylan was good, a little disappointed no encore and he didn't cover a lot of his bigger hits. Allison Krauss and Robert Plant were exceptionally great!! We weren't able to enjoy opening band due to unorganized chair pick-up at venue. We had to stand in three different lines at three different places as each place ran out, finally got chairs, trying to find place to put them, first band ended.

Celisse opened and she is a wonderful talent IMO! She hit the jackpot to open for such legends and is deserving! Enjoyed her and her band very much. Robert and Allison were wonderful and didn’t disappoint. What can I say about Bob? He didn’t disappoint because I didn’t expect much. I heard him in the 70s and recognized his songs then. But he hadn’t written over 800 then so it was easy enough to glean the song even if he wasn’t sticking to the melody. I couldn’t do that last night (Twist of Fate was recognized by that lyric) but I was disappointed that he didn’t play guitar. I hope he is doing as well as is expected at his age. I treated my adult daughter because I wanted to go and she had no interest in hearing these legends on her own so she went with me to kick off my 70th BD week. Anyway, he is a musical genius and just being in the same space again was unreal to me (I’m a Beatles/George, TPATH and Wilburys big time fan). Like a said, I wasn’t disappointed but just glad to be there. I WAS disappointed that Willie wasn’t well because he is the only one I hadn’t heard before live. Waited too long surely and am sorry for that but life happens. I just hope he rests well and is able to perform again. His son Luke sounds just like Willie at his age. Wonderful band and enjoyed them very much. The next best thing to Willie being there. Gave it a 4 star because of Willie but a wonderful weather and music night and memory with my daughter. I’ve enjoyed the venue before and will again, God willing. 😊🌻

Willie was great. He put o n a good show for a 91 year old performer! Parking is a mess, they need more than one entry and one exit. Don’t be in a hurry to get out of the area after the show.

He continues to thrive as a relevant and progressive musical and cultural force. In recent years, he has delivered more than a dozen new albums, released a Top 10 New York Times' bestsellers book, again headlined Farm Aid, an event he co-founded in 1985, been honored by the Library of Congress with their Gershwin Prize for Popular Song, received his 5th degree black belt in Gong Kwon Yu Sul, headlined the annual Luck Reunion food and music festival during SXSW, launched his cannabis companies Willie's Reserve and Willie's Remedy, and graced the covers of Rolling Stone and AARP The Magazine. In July 2020, Willie released his album First Rose of Spring - an atmospheric soulful showcase of beautifully-written songs and poignant performances. September 2020 brought a memoir with his sister and pianist Bobbie Nelson titled,Me and Sister Bobbie: True Tales of The Family Band. For 2021, he released a new studio album in February —That's Life, Willie's second album of standards and classics made famous by Frank Sinatra (his first, 2018's My Way, earned Willie the Grammy for Best Traditional Pop Solo Album). In June 2021, a collection of his thoughts on America, family, faith and music hits shelves as a new book titled Willie Nelson’s Letters to America. In November 2021, Nelson released the new studio album, The Willie Nelson Family, a collection of country gospel-flavored songs performed by Willie’s Family Band. Throughout 2023, Willie celebrates his 90th birthday with multiple projects and events including a two-night star-studded concert, Long Story Short: Willie Nelson 90, in April at the famed Hollywood Bowl. The year began with the debut of "Wille Nelson & Family," a new five-part film documentary series directed by Thom Zimny and Oren Moverman that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival as well as the just released new album, I Don't Know a Thing About Love, which features 10 performances that pay tribute to American songwriter Harlan Howard, These creative endeavors as well as new songs and performances that add to his classic catalog, find Willie Nelson rolling at an artistic peak, writing and singing and playing with the seasoned wit and wisdom that comes from the road.
