About Si Connelly
Spending his childhood years travelling under his Dad’s DJ booth, in the spit and sawdust nightclubs of England, Si Connelly emerged, with a vast pallet of in uences and a suitcase of emotionally cracked songs.
After years on the underground touring scene, London based Singer-Songwriter Si Connelly released his long-awaited debut album ‘Youth War & Joy’ in 2016, on the West One Music label.
Written and recorded whilst living out of his car, Si managed to impress, Brit-Award-winning Producer Chris Potter (The Verve, Blur, The Rolling Stones) and Grammy-Award winning Producer Dom Morley (Adele, Amy Winehouse) to help create his debut album for free.
The albums lead track ‘Hurt You’ featured on hit ITV drama Monroe, and was also picked up by Coldplay, who backed Si’s vocal performance. Hurt You peaked at 19 on the UK iTunes chart, and the album went on to receive radio and television placement in many territories, including Radio 2 airplay and encouragement from Jonathon Ross in the UK.
After a successful crowd-funding campaign, 2017 saw the release of Si’s second album ‘Eject’ (Sony/Chrysalis), featuring multiple producers; Sam Williams (Supergrass), Bacon & Quarmby (KT Tunstall), Chenzo Townsend (James Blunt/Keane), Mike Crossey (Arctic Monkeys). This double- album featuring a massive 24-tracks, was quickly followed up by a third album ‘13 Ghosts’.
Both Eject and 13 Ghosts featured singles picked up by 6 Music and BBC Introducing.
Alongside this as a songwriter, Si has also co-written for The Voice UK winner Stevie McCrorie and has worked with Boyzone, Guvna B and Annie Lennox.
After a long period of touring the UK, Europe and the US, Si released a number of singles from his upcoming forth album ‘Change’. The self-produced remix album Change (set for release in March 2022) features a host of tracks recorded
