Karl was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan where he started playing guitar at the age of 8. His interest in guitar playing led him to Chicago where he studied classical guitar as a performance major at Roosevelt University in the early 1990's.

In 1996 Karl migrated west to the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. There, he's been working his craft playing in Bars, Restaurants, Theaters, Breweries, and Coffee shops.

Karl's current program consists of straight forward, energetic interpretations of classic rock favorites and danceable adult alternative tunes. Karl's sets also feature selections from a varied and refreshing repertoire of original material. His easy going, fun style engages, uplifts and moves. Enjoy.
