Hellbeard

Cold blooded creatures shed their skin as they grow, looking refreshed and new. When the scum rock band 66seven decided to take their sound in a darker, droning, more powerful new direction after a line-up change, a new name was needed.... Hellbeard brings musicality, vision, spirit and reason, to create disturbing, crushing sonic walls of destruction, comforting ambient textures, and hypnotic drones. To understand what Hellbeard is, one must know a little history. Joe, Jeremy, and original bassist Danny Trevino played together as 66seven, a desert rock band with lots of piss and fire. Sean joined in the later part of the groups run in '08. Things started to switch up quickly, getting darker, slower, and more lumbering, so it was decided a name change was needed. With the name change, James joined, and a three guitar attack was let loose. In August of 2010,the self financed "Scarecrow" was released to a very positive response. Shortly after that album release, Danny decided that he needed to move on, so Jeremy moved over to bass. As a four piece, Hellbeard have continued to warp minds and blur visions with their unique blend of most things heavy. Plans for an EP are set for 2013. Dark and Light...
