About TJY
Early Life ChildHood
Youselin Joseph is a young, passionate and multi-talented artiste popularly known by his stage name, TJY; an acronym for the words: Talented Joseph Youselin. He was born on the 8th of November, 1996 in Gonaives, Haiti; a city best known for its reputation as being the most violent region in the country.
Unlike many kids with rosy childhood memories, Youselin had to grow up fast, with each passing day a struggle to stay alive. In 2005, when he was only 9 years old, he managed to survive one of the world's most destructive natural disasters till date; the Hurricane Jeanne, which left no fewer than 3000 people dead and rendered a lot more homeless.
Live Life in Song
During such tough times, Youselin found his comfort and escape in music.Though Youselin had been entertaining audiences with his music and dance performances since childhood, his career did not officially take off until 2008 in Bradenton, Florida, when he met two of his cousins; TK Pot Lanfe and Young DC. In no time, TK, the lead rapper of the group recognized his unique talent and asked him to join their music group; King Kong Boyz (now simply called Pot Lanfe) and have since been recording hit tracks and making quality videos together. On May 18, 2013, TK and TJY released the official music video to their song, "Check Us Out" which has been aired countless times on thriving TV channels in Haiti and equally garnered massive play in clubs. Youselin "TJY" Joseph is also a versatile music producer who has made music by himself in support of his solo career. In August, 2013, he dropped a single with a video that he had recorded, produced, directed and edited by himself titled "Unstoppable". He would then go on to record another great song and release a video with TK in April, 2016 titled "Manmzel Ale" which was a major hit in Haiti.

Education
Youselin Joseph earned his high school Diploma with a 3.4 GPA at Southeast High School/Smart Horizons, and then proceeded to study Digital Video Productions at State College of Florida (SCF). However, due to some personal reasons, TJY could not continue at SCF after his first year but now has plans to return to complete his tertiary education as soon as he can.
Inspiration
I find inspiration all around me. I try to make my music representative of myself and my generation. I love the places that most people don't give a second glance.
