Solace Lost

Solace Lost was originally formed way back in July of 2008 by Acea Lashely and Mark Moorehead. May of 2009 was the first show at a club called “Baja’s” in Newnan GA where Solace Lost played with their current line-up. The same month SL went to Virtuo Studios in Atlanta to record their Hit track “Justify”. The track “ Justify” garnished many awards on www.garageband.com including; track of the day, track of the week, track of the month, best drums, best guitar and best vocals for a metal group. By the end of 2009 Solace Lost had planted a seed in Atlanta’s metal scene as one of the best up and coming bands. Their debut album "Transmissions of a Dying World" was unleashed on May 8th, 2010. Bred from pure malice and fueled by revenge, this album is a gunshot to the head of modern metal music. It effectively blends all styles of metal to assault your senses and grip you in a total onslaught of epic proportions. Solace Lost sold close to 2000 copies of there first album after it was released May 8 2010. The entire album was self-produced and self recorded. Solace Lost is currently working on their 2nd Full length Studio Album with hopes of its release in early 2012. Solace Lost is here to keep American Metal cranked through fan's speakers of all genres of metal! Solace Lost has gained a reputation for being able to mix different types of metal together. With a blend of Thrash, Hardcore, Grind, American Metal, Death Metal, Melodic Metalcore & more, Solace Lost has something for everyone!
