Volta

Volta is an independent band from Bogota, Colombia. Its line-up includes Carolina Gaitan (vocals), Carlos Marquez (guitar, programming), Camilo Zuñiga (keyboards), Daniel Nassar (drums) and Andres Diaz (visual art.)

Volta arises with the idea of creating an audiovisual proposal where rock and electronic sounds interact. They develop their sound based on industrial sequences and guitars that make a harmonic contrast with the sweet voice and the melodic keyboards. Their influences include electro, industrial and alternative rock, and electronic music. Videos act as a complement to the music.
