About Natalie Patton
Natalie Patton is an indie-pop singer-songwriter too clever for her own good. Influenced by a background in musical theater, she has a natural flair for evocative and intimate lyrics. Natalie grew up in Houston, TX, picking up piano, ukulele, and guitar along the way. She spent the past few years honing her craft in Austin, TX before relocating to Los Angeles. Natalie’s writing is heavily influenced by 50’s and 60’s pop mixed in with the storytelling sensibilities of Sara Bareilles and Ingrid Michaelson. She leans on lush vocals, addicting melodies, and lyrics that stay with you long after the song has ended.
Natalie’s first music video, a colorful one-take mind-bender for her upbeat breakup anthem ‘Get Up’, premiered on Valentine’s Day 2019. Natalie’s self-titled EP, produced by Barry Coffing and mixed by Dale Penner, was released in August 2019. Natalie recently played to a packed house at The Viper Room, one of LA’s most famous (and haunted?) venues, and hopes to mount her first multi-city tour in 2020.
