Darren and The Buttered Toast

When Darren and The Buttered Toast burst on the scene Oct. 24, 2013, the mountains of North Carolina had no idea what hit them. The Toast has created a truly unique and original sound. Forging a new direction, with a focus on a positive vibe to lift the spirit and move the feet, The Toast quickly found an audience, and a home in the hearts of their fans. Comprised of four multi-talented members. Darren Curtis, Isaac Capers, Delante' Randolph, and Anthony Dyal combine ideas to create unique, original music. Darren and the Buttered Toast, commonly referred to as "The Toast", incorporate a variety of musical genres including R&B, Soul, Alternative, Funk, Fusion, Jazz, Rock, and Gospel.

Darren Curtis guides the Toast writing all original songs and providing smooth, lead vocals and guitar. Keeping seep in the pocket on drums and vocals is Isaac Capers, one of the founding members. Playing melodies and pushing the threshold of his horn is saxophonist and vocalist Delante' Randolph. Holding the groove on the 5-string bass is Anthony Dyal. These four multi-talented musicians fuse together to create the authentic soundscape that is Darren and The Buttered Toast.
