Ruben Plazier

Ruben Plazier is a pianist who began his musical journey at the age of 14 when he enrolled at the Rotterdam Conservatory. Later, he continued his studies at the Ecole Normale de Musique Alfred Cortot in Paris, France, where he received his artist diploma under the guidance of Jean-Bernard Pommier.

While performing throughout Europe, Ruben Plazier introduced a new concert series, “Experience Klassiek” with locations throughout The Netherlands in 2022. These concerts go beyond the typical chambermusic recital, as he aims to forge a deep connection with his audience. Through storytelling and insights shared during the performances, he invites concertgoers to engage more intimately with classical music, enriching the overall experience.
