Great vocals reminds me of a mellow Chester (Linkin Park) but with the soul of Jack Johnson/James Vincent McMorrow with and all around sound. The band had awesome crowd work and kept up a good pace throughout the night. Very humble group of young men, I wish them all the best of luck in the industry. Go see them asap!

About exwhy

"In November 2013, Jack Fowler left his career interests in New York to come back to Atlanta in hopes to quench his creative thirst. Jack crossed paths with drummer Ryan York via mutual friends and the two really hit it off after playing together for the first time. Same goes for bassist Brad Holland, who Jack met during a brief stint in Community College. Jason Murray joined the fold after the four guys went out for dinner and hashed out ideas in the form of making tabletop beats & vocal melodies while consuming copious amounts of beer & pizza. This was the beginning of exwhy. Their original mission statement was simple: play music, create solid friendships in Atlanta and make enough money to drink beer for free. But, as any artist knows, when you're the creative type, you strive for something more. And that 'something more' came in the form of 4 demos that caught the attention of Other People Records, which signed the band in September 2014. While pursuing full time jobs with conflicting schedules, the band finished their debut record, The Feels, earlier this year. Recorded with Kenny Muto at Tomuto Sounds and mixed by Beau Burchell of Saosin fame, The Feels is a 10 track effort that encompasses everything the band stands for; solid bass & drum play, spacey guitars, powerful melodies and puzzle-like lyrics that serve as Easter eggs hidden in plain view." – Nicholas Taft Find out more at exwhyband.com
