Under a Dead Sky

Under a Dead Sky, a death metal band from Akron, Ohio is working harder than ever to bring the "do-it-yourself" attitude back to the music scene with a crash of brutal music, and wave of amazing performances. This 5-piece band consists of vocalist Sean Ast, guitarists Andrew Clark and Paul Wolfe, bassist-Vee Koroghlian and drummer Colin Papp. With each member having many different musical backgrounds & interests, they have been able to collaborate and bring together a whole new sound combining a style of metal, death metal with a touch of hardcore. Going through a few member changes since 2007, overcoming adversity is the Under a Dead Sky mantra. Gaining much interest from a fast growing fan base in Ohio, and Pennsylvania Under a Dead Sky has had the opportunity to tour and become friends with numbers of local and national bands. In between a growing fan base and playing live, UADS took the time to record their first LP "Spread Your Legs For Scrambled Eggs" (http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/UnderaDeadSky). in 2009, and their second Self-Titled L.P. "Under a Dead Sky" (http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/id547045626?ign-mpt=uo=4) in 2011, with the Reissue coming out on itunes in 2012... In 2012 Under A Dead Sky released two singles "So Far So Hood" (http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/underadeadsky1) in April and "Blood On The Sidewalk" (http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/underadeadsky12) in August. Now Under a Dead SKy is writing new material and looking to record a new E.P. in the spring of 2013 while at the same time, looking to expand by touring. This being a band that prides themselves in their stage presence, UADS is one band you WILL NOT want to miss . Under A Dead Sky has come to "Kick ass & chew bubblegum", but guess what?
