If mother earth could sing you a song this is how she would sound. Vanessa’s voice has the ability to lull you into a serene state resembling melting into love and drifting through blue skies.

"Love Letters from the Universe" is the debut album by the
Kiwi-born, Australian based musician Vanessa Forbes. Her music comes from her own journey of transformation as she learned of the power of aligning with her higher force.
Her own personal revolution happened when she hit the age of 35. Having absolutely nothing in her life that she had dreamed of, she began to study and learned the power that we all hold in our minds to create our own reality. Within a short space of time, her whole internal and physical world had transformed and she wrote the album as a reminder to “point my brain in the right direction” everyday.

With deep personal experience in the healing power of music and the influence of words, her music and lyrics aim to support an expansion of consciousness into a lighter way of being.

“Love Letters From The Universe” released in 2014 has touched many people worldwide and her music has found it’s way into yoga retreat playlists in UK, USA, Canada, Europe.

Vanessa also holds kirtan circles and does many Sound Healing events throughout Australia with her husband. They are known as "HeartSound".

With a mother as a folk singer, Vanessa has been around music all her life and her earliest memories are camping at folk festivals in NZ, experiencing the joy and connection music brought her and the community.
