Classic songs of The Who done bluegrass style? Yes, please! What a fun concept, come to life by these fine musicians. Starting with My Generation, to songs from Tommy, Magic Bus, Sparks, Squeeze Box, Baba O’ Reilly, etc., a great time was had by all (especially me!) Extra credit for it being a FREE show, in a beautiful setting, Lake Meridian park in Kent. Not a bad seat in the ‘house’, and the sun setting behind the stage was pure magic! I was so impressed, I purchased the Hillbenders first CD, which is a fine collection of original bluegrass songs that made for a foot- tapping, joyous ride home.

This was my second time to see them in Springfield. They are an awesome band with some great musicians! Love them!

Very talented artists, but I remember them being much more entertaining and high energy some years back. As good as the music still is, the show has lost its original spark. Vocally impressive

Fucking extraordinary

This was an excellent concert. The Hillbenders' more native bluegrass set was great. The performance of Tommy, and this from a long-time Wholigan, may have been one of the most inspired renditions of the rock opera I've had the joy to see.
