Very good band, their sound reflects much of The Expendables, Dirty Heads, and of course, the inventors of this sound, Sublime. Sublime had a rawness, an effect with the way that Bradley could connect directly with the crowd, keeping them locked on to every note, rhytm change, and vocal stories, which were so incredibly unique at that time! It’s no wonder that so many bands now days have locked into that genre, whether a little more Roots Rock, ska, or Hip-Rock, they all connect to that similar sound, which isn’t a bad thing at all, but thank Bradley, Bud, and Eric, for changing a complete music scene, from grunge, to reggae, ska, punk, funk! It was a risk they took, and won in all hands, Brad just got picked off too soon! Thanks to bands like El Dub, Slightly Stoopid, G Love, and The Dirty Heads, if you never got to have a Sublime night, sucks for you, but you can still catch that sound being played with some quality twists put into the material. I can’t forget my boys from TreeHouse either, they have a very good roots approach to the Long Beach jam sound, and really like them a lot! Give El Dub a shot, and you just might have find s new band to love! Good luck to these guys! DJ Logic & Project Logic Crew
