Young the Giant

This night was amazing. I got there a little early right when doors opened so we can be near the front. We where the closest I have ever been at a concert and it was 100% worth it. Milkey chance was amazing and loved all of their murch. I would definitely go again to see young the giant! Best experience.

This was the fourth time I have seen "Young " in concert. They are always very entertaining and I am a total fan but this time they were a little flat. I'm not saying it was a bad concert because it was full on "Young" but they weren't at the top of their game. Of course, they played all of their hits but I would have loved to have heard a lot of their new tunes. They have so much in their arsenal, they could entertain all night. A ten o'clock end time was not a fair amount of time to give such a prolific band. I look forward to their next concert wherever it may take me!

My first concert and it was such a memorable experience. Young the giant did a great job at organizing and executing which songs to perform while incorporating their old and new songs. Their set up was insanely good because it connected with their new album, American Bollywood. Overall the concert was phenomenal and they performed beautifully <3 3

Truly an incredible night and performance! Young the Giant has been my favorite band for the past 8 years and this was the first time I was able to see them live. What an amazingly talented band and such a charismatic lead singer! Sameer's voice is just as mesmerizing in person. I will be looking forward to the next time they are in town and making it a priority!

Fitz and the Tantrums really know how to get a crowd moving, while Young the Giant knows exactly how to chill the audience out in pure tranquility. As the drunk woman next to me said, "I feel like I'm on shrooms here". Perfect contrast with each other with amazin setlists and light shows. Coin was good too I guess.

Absolutely beautiful performance, I was very stressed all week but left the show feeling so zen and refreshed ♡ he was so charismatic and funny, like even when he tripped backwards and almost fell off the stage he played it off with such grace and laughed right along with us. As for the palace theatre, I don't think there's a bad seat in the house; the acoustics are phenomenal!

Opening night for the venue. Parking was pretty bad but the facility was ok. Can of bud light 13$ cocktail 20$. The artists however were amazing. Cold War Kids had such a positive and intense energy and they sounded perfect. Young the Giant was very impressive it was a perfect show and I couldn't have asked for more.

Young the Giant is an incredible group of musicians. They sounded amazing live and put on an awesome show. Sameer is a confident (how many men do you know who could rock a jumpsuit, wild socks and a glitter jacket?), charismatic and energetic frontman with a dynamically gifted voice. We can't wait to see them again. Opening bands Joywave and Cold War Kids also exhibited great musicianship and we enjoyed their performances. Overall the ticket was well put together.

Ever since I first saw Young The Giant, they have been and will always be one of my favorite concerts to attend. Their Shows are vibrant and full of color and life. The members are amazing and the live session is almost as good if not better than the recorded. Definitely recommend to new listeners!!

The bands are awesome! However the staff at the rose land were rude. I get it that it's high stress and dealing with that many people would be hard but customer service goes a really long way (I learned a lesson a long time ago that you never know who you'll run into). If you don't love what you do than find what you love, because life without passion is meaningless. Thank you to the band for hosting the event it was a honor and to hear you guys live was truly a once in a life time experience.

Other than the girls in front of us holding their hands and jumping the entire time so we couldn't see the guys were FANTASTIC! Very charismatic and lively, unlike some of the others I've seen. Would love to see them again and be a little closer! Definitely recommend seeing them live!

Great opener (Lewis Del Mar had an EXCELLENT drummer), and great set design. Played all the hit (except 12 Fingers), and most of the new album. Incorporation of the album's theme into the set design was stellar. A decent light show, but nothing blew me away. Great band energy, but the crowed was lacking in a Sunday night. Excellent venue (The National - Richmond). I would see them again, but want more happening on stage.

Concert was great! Parking was easy and we didn't even have to wait in a long line to enter! Young the giant sounded great as usual although near the middle and upper seating levels the music volume seemed to sound really low and muffled :( you could hear people talking around you way louder then the actual music and many fans were talking about how low the sound was. I love the Greek and I've seen many shows there and never noticed a sound issue so I'm not sure if this is a new sound regulation.

One of the best concerts I've ever been to! But 1/10 for the venue. I was very very first in line at 9am and was excited I was going to be barricade. So you can feel my heartbreak as I go in ready to be barricade when I see that all the 21+ got let in before any of the people who have been waiting all day and have taken up the first 3 rows. None of the 21+ people showed up until 5:30pm so it was a bummer I had been waiting all day very first person to even get there and not even make it to the first row. Regardless, I moved on when Young the Giant came on because they are one of my most favorite bands and I couldn't control my smile. Such an amazing night but super crappy how the security ran it.

Most energetic show I've ever experienced. Hands down. Always followed them from the start (after hearing "Apartment" back on the self- titled debut album). They are extremely influential to many and especially myself. Most certainly attending further shows and will be looking forward to even greater tracks down the road! It's amazing to see them getting the attention they deserved from day one. Definitely recommend to anyone. They are incredible performers and show the passion in their own music. You will feel the emotion, I promise you that!

My friend and I were the third persons there and waited in line since 2:30 and were very front and just shy of the center! It was an absolutely amazing show, they always do a fantastic job and are very entertaining! We waited outside after the concert and got to meet and take pictures with the band, they were the friendliest guys ever and I can't imagine anything else ever comparing to my experience at this concert!! 10/10 would do again

Young The Giant is a group of very talented musicians with a unique sound. But for the first hour of their show last night I was bored to death. While their new album" Mind Over Matter" plays particularly well at moments-as a whole-it's sound is redundant with a lack of experimentation or intrinsic value. This is the best way I can explain that first hour, given they played the new album throughout. However, an inspired rendition of R. Kelly's" Ignition" coupled with the band's three biggest hits saved for the final half hour, gave the show a boost that it desperately neered. Good show, but overall a 3 out of 5.

I will say that I am a big fan of these guys, but I am also a working musician and a pretty meticulous critic when it comes to a proper live performance. I feel that overall, I may have paid more to see Young the Giant if they had charged it. Stellar. Sameer's vocals were pitch perfect. Appropriately and not overbearingly adventurous. All addition, no subtraction. The band was as solid and clear as diamonds and shined as such with only one noticeable mistake the entire set. Check. Them. Out.

One of the best concerts I've ever been to. Hands down. The vibe of the crowd alone was amazing, everyone knew the lyrics and were singing along. YTG performance was perfect. After the show i waited and got to meet Sameer as well, he's such a nice person and easy to talk to. I got my setlist I caught signed by him. Whenever they come back, I'm saying it now, BUY TICKETS!

It was incredible!!! The lights were amazing and not only did the music sound great, the renditions of the songs were amazing and they always kept the audience happy and dancing. Sameer jumped into the ground during the last song (My Body) and it was AMAZING. I can't wait for the next show!!!
