Natural Born Thrillers

Natural Born Thrillers are an all original 4-piece edgy hard rock band based out of Dallas, TX. We bring to the table a ton of influences including Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Black Sabbath, Tool, Cream, Led Zeppelin, RATM, Jane's Addiction, Pink Floyd and many others. Our sound is uniquely powerful. You won't hear another band like us. Our powerful vocal assault flanked by a soulful yet hard driving guitar and the rock solid foundation of the groovy rhythmic section mix together to keep you moving and engaged at our stage show.

Bios
Cody Wells is a soulful, self-styled multi-genre vocalist/lyricist. Influenced through decades of great music and vocal styling in a multitude of genres. Classical, Big Band, Jazz, R&B, Funk, Rock, Hard Rock, Metal, Progressive, Alternative, Grunge, Punk, Reggae and more. Most recent vocal presentations (min. 10 yrs) have resided mainly in the Hard Rock and Progressive Metal Genre's with bands, Clone Mike from Dallas, TX and Junkyard Mars also out of Dallas. Clone Mike had early internet notability and Junkyard Mars was making great bounds with local fans and opening positions for several major global touring acts. Cody delivers with soulful power, range and a solid live show presence and presentation.

Abel Mendoza is professional musician with over 15 years of live experience combined with an ear for tasty licks, a larger than life stage persona and a true entertainer. He brings the "X Factor" to the Natural Born Thrillers' arsenal. Having played live shows in the Lubbock and Dallas/Fort Worth areas, it’s easy to see his popularity. Currently using Buddy Blaze guitars and Mesa Boogie Amplification to round out his unique and infectious sound.

Keith Watson brings to Natural Born Thrillers nearly three decades of drumming and songwriting experience. He's played some of the biggest stages in DFW and has been the backbone of some killer bands over the years. His playing style and his kit are setup so he can be seen and heard from space! Like a meteor burning up in the earth's atmosphere, you will take notice when he's playing! His influences span from the 60's forward with the likes of Mitch Mitchell, Ginger Baker, Scott Rockenfield, Sean Kinney, Danny Carey, Brann Dailor, and others. Keith plays DW drums with Sabian cymbals.

Dale Sprankle is the foundation for the house of bombastic sound in Natural Born Thrillers. He has a unique style that has a little funk, a little metal, and a whole lot of groove. Dale has been a huge part of the DFW music community since the early 90's. He's a musician's musician and can play any style. Dale plays Fender exclusively through Hartke Amplification.
