About Eddie Fish
Eddie Fish is an international touring & session bass player. He plays electric bass, electric upright, and acoustic. He is known for his work in rock, punkabilly, alt-jazz, jazz, and pop.
Eddie was born into music, his father being a music professor at a small collage in Seattle. He started playing professionally at the age 15 with the vision and work ethic of being a jazz player and was accepted to study at Berkley college in Boston after studying with Gary Peacock. At the age of 17, he went straight into the music industry, gigging in Seattle with local bands and worked as a hired gun for Equity musical theatre productions.
At the age of 24 he was signed to a recording contract & moved to L.A. He was fortunate to study with Tim Bogart (Vanilla Fudge) and played with a few LA-based bands over the years when, by chance, he stumbled upon the debauchery of the Dance Hall Pimps. Seeing kindred spirits in the wickedness of thought & talent, he was home.
2015 saw the hiatus of the Pimps, and in 2018 Eddie brought his bass back home to Seattle, where he plays locally, back where it all began.
