Omid Nourizadeh aka Omid 16B has a unique love for making music, starting at the age of fourteen playing guitar before discovering ACID HOUSE in the early 90's. As a DJ and producer, songwriter, musician and head A&R for his aLOLa / SexOnWax & Disclosure labels , Omid 16B has created a mysterious yet prolific career, his passion and commitment is unrivalled. With an impressive discography of remixes (Lana Del Rey, The Cure, Gus Gus, Telex, Danny Howells, Todd Terry...) and singles (Escape Driving To Heaven, Secrets, Snow, Water Ride, Melodica....) through to the 16B albums (Sounds From Another Room, How To Live 100 Years, Like 3 Ears & 1 Eye ...) and DJ mix compilation (Balance 13-SOS, Sounds Like Alola, Mos Club Series SOS), Omid has maintained the highest quality to this day and throughout his career without any commercial compromise. Earning a valuable reputation as an industry innovator, Omid is at the forefront of experimental strategies for releasing his music. The aim is to simply develop the universal connection through music and this connection is what inspires the performance, allowing the highest and most natural expression.
