Mozambo

Mozambo is a French DJs and producers duo, known on the international House music scene for their remixes and original tracks, which to date have cumulated almost 20 million streams.

Born and raised in the French southern city of Marseille, the duo’s signature sound is a wise mix of funk, rock and house music. Inspired by their hometown and by the era they grew up in, their music reflects equally influences from the 70s’ and 80’s as it does from early 21st century French Touch. Lovers of rhythm machines and vintage analog synths, of sampling and live shows, Mozambo defines its unique sound by a harmonic fusion of disco bass lines, Prince inspired funk guitars and Earth, Wind & Fire like horn sections.

Today, Mozambo shares stages with bands such as Breakbot, Synapson, Supermen Lovers, Bakermat or Cerrone. Experiencing one of the duo’s singular performance is to get a taste of their refined groove, and their unique approach to the fusion of old school and modern sounds.

In 2020, Mozambo has made a true return to their roots with the release of their debut EP “Kennedy’s”. Combining their old school, French Touch and Jackin House influences, this EP is without doubt tailored for the summer. At dusk with a first glass or at dawn in the club, “Kennedy’s” blissfully manages to transcribe Mozambo’s energy and the colors of the French Riviera nights.
