About ShoutHouse
"Incomparable to anything existing" (The Culture Trip), ShoutHouse is a chamber orchestra of 16+ musicians from hip-hop, jazz, and classical backgrounds. Through shared expression and the discovery of new, unexplored sounds, they bridge the divides among many communities of artists and audiences. They have been featured on "New Sounds" with Jon Schaeffer (WNYC/NPR), "44 Charlton" with Julian Fleisher, WBAI, the Harlem Arts Festival, and they are recipients of the "Entrepreneurship Grant" from Juilliard. They are directed by composer and pianist Will Healy, and conducted by Alex Burtzos. NYC-based Orchestraband
