About Death Ambient
Death Ambient is an experimental and ambient collective of improvisers from around the world comprising Kato Hideki (bass guitar), Ikue Mori (drum machines, laptop electronics), and Fred Frith (guitar). The group was formed by Hideki and Mori in 1995 and they have recorded three albums, Death Ambient in 1995, Synaesthesia in 1999, and Drunken Forest (with Jim Pugliese) in 2007.
