Boxplot

Boxplot is the moniker of New York-based producer, DJ, and all-around artist Ian Sheldon.

Fusing the euphoria and drive of his indie and punk rock influences with high-energy drum and bass production, Ian transports his listeners to a world where concert and rave become one. Embodying the spirit of a loud, basement sweatbox gig with his trademark infectious, outright feral energy behind the decks, his performances have rocked ravers from all walks of life and all over the world.

Throughout his more than 15 years of studio experience, Ian has become a mainstay on Dutch imprint Liquicity—from his humble beginnings in the early 2010s to his instantly iconic 2017 Tramontane EP and his stunning 2022 debut album, Here & Now. In 2013, he and his partner-in-crime, Mega Flare, also started their collaborative Tetracase project, bringing the colourful sonic worlds of video game music into the realm of modern-day electronic music and, of course, drum and bass.
