About Telescope For The Blind
Telescope For The Blind’s musical style can best be described as hippie folk rock. With
Irish Eamonn Rainey as a frontman, however, it is definitely more on the hyperactive side than on the foggy side of the hippie vibe. Riding on waves of Hammond organ whilst preaching and letting his words of wisdom run wild, Eamonn craves the audience’s full attention.
The party started when the band met on shaky ground on a tour of Ireland. As we
are all standing on shaky ground and as life is messed up, the band wants to create
moments of intimacy. Because the only thing we have is each other and the present.
Telescope For The Blind are based in Copenhagen. They have toured all around Denmark, amongst others supporting Danish rock legends D-A-D and the Sandmen. They have also played venues and festivals in Germany and The Netherlands.
