Catching Moons

Catching Moons is a hard rock band that brings lyrical intensity and a funky edge. Both seducing and breaking barriers, they put on a show you will never forget. The four ladies Kimberly (vocals), Camille (guitar), Krysse (bass), and Joanne (drums) are based in the Northeast primarily in Boston. The band's 2015 Desensitized EP has been featured on Vanyaland online radio as well as Boston's Classic Rock Station 100.7 WZLX on Boston Emissions. The sisters Krysse and Kimberly have been playing with drummer and long time friend Joanne for an almost a decade around the Brazilian American community of New Jersey where they grew up. They felt complete when meeting Camille, Chicago native, at Berklee College of Music. In Catching Moons the ladies have found their true identities through their sound. All four girls write music both separately and together and their unique background creates the different aesthetic that is Catching Moons. They are heavily influenced by Classic rock, funk, grunge, blues and pop. Heavy, funky, and beautiful- Catching Moons is a four piece powerhouse sure to tickle any rock lover's fancy.
