August 2nd 2022
Outstanding voice: accurate and wide vocal range. Ms. Albrecht covers the gamut of popular music, R&B, Rock Ballads, Folk Ballads. She does “Drops of Jupiter” better than than Train and matches Ingred Michaelson’s version “Can’t Help Falling in Love with You.”
Chelsea, MI@Robin Hills FarmAbout Alison Albrecht
Combining the likes of pop, folk, and soul with sharply insightful songwriting, Ann Arbor, Michigan-based Alison Albrecht consistently captivates audiences from music halls to living rooms. Her sound is bold yet ethereal, drawing from the likes of Joni Mitchell, Carole King, Stevie Nicks, and Lorde. Her music creates the perfect soundtrack for the complex, universal human emotions we all feel.
At nine years old, Alison began performing across the state of Michigan and she hasn’t stopped since. She has self-released award-winning EPs and two singles, with new releases in the works for 2022. Her vibrant spirit instantly connects with listeners and her vulnerable lyrics fearlessly tackle navigating the often untold fluctuations of life.
Alison intends to graduate from the University of Michigan in the spring of 2022 with a degree in biopsychology, cognition, and neuroscience – and plans to pursue a full-time career in music. She hopes to combine music and songwriting with the mental health field, advocating for marginalized voices and supporting individuals with diverse experiences.
