Cemode

Biography’s..who reads these damn things anyway? ;)
 But if you already do, Cemode has a quite interesting story to tell you.

This promising artist from the Diamond Capital of The World - Antwerp, started DJ-ing in the late 90s and quickly became one the most respected DJs of Belgium. 
Most people in Belgium know Cemode best as Dj Christophe! and his 10 year long residency at the legendary Club Illusion (The Level) but also for his residency’s in clubs such La Rocca (Lier), Barabar (Sint - Truiden) Outline (Diest) and Space (Antwerp)

(1999 - 2005)
After winning a DJ-contest at the age of 19, he got the chance to play as a resident at Club Illusion, a well known and legendary club in Belgium.
With this solid operating base, Christophe quickly gained popularity with his own characteristic style of sexy, grooving, melodic house, deephouse and nudisco in combination with the ability to grab his audience by it’s throat until they danced the soles of their feet.
In this period he also had his first major release; “Dj Christophe - Make it happen” which is still to this date a Belgian Club (Level) classic!

(2005 - 2010)
In 2006 he launched his own club night called “The Hype!”, where he invited big names such as Funkagenda, Ida Engberg, Delicious & Till West, Spencer parker - just to name a few.
No wonder “The Hype!“ quickly became an established concept, pulling massive crowds from all over Belgium and beyond.
As a result of the success of 'The Hype!', Christophe started his own recordlabel 'The Hype Records' in 2007. '
The Hype Records' not only releases new tracks by Christophe himself, but also offers upcoming Belgian talents the chance to release their own productions.
One if his own releases on the Hype Records, “Totop“ , reached the Beatport top 100 and almost instantly got credit from all over the world.

Next to his residency at Club Illusion, Christophe became a much appreciated guest at countless parties and venue's in and around Belgium.
In that period he played at clubs and festivals such as Tomorrowland, Laundry day, Summerfestival, Extrema, Groove Garden festival, Beachland, Moodstock, Noxx, La Rocca, Versuz…. and several parties in Holland, Spain and Ibiza (Bora Bora)

(2010 - 2014)
From 2010 till the beginning of 2014 Christophe was also part of the dj-duo StereoClash which he formed with his good friend Dj Seelen.
As StereoClash they played at countless party’s and festivals in Belgium and Holland and had some great releases on several Belgian and foreign records labels such as Stony Boy records and Royal House Records.
Unfortunately because of the busy careers both members still had separately, they decided to put an end to the StereoClash story and bring the focus back to their own careers.

(2014 - …. )
Since the beginning of 2014 Christophe decided to change his artist/dj name to Cemode to give it a more original an international edge.
Changing his name doesn’t mean Christophe has changed his game!
His style can still be described as sexy, grooving house with a deep, nudisco twist to it which also reflects in his new, upcoming productions.

The first release as Cemode (Keep on Pushin up EP) instantly reached the top 100 House and deep house releases at Beatport with a high 39 ranking!
“SAYB“, his second release on London based Tall House Records also hit the Beatport Top 100 Nu Disco releases at 24 and got massive support all over the world from the likes of Amine Edge, BBC Radio, Kiss FM Australia, Idealclubworld.com
Several new releases and remixes are being finished as we speak and will be released in the coming month’s.

Next to that Christophe recently started his new radioshow “Night Falls“
“Night Falls“ is a monthly radioshow/podcast with nothing but quality tunes ranging from House over Deep house into Nudisco and Indie with every episode a guest mix (Night Guest) and a track/promo of the month (Night Call)
Dj-wise the future also looks very bright with confirmed gig’s at Tomorrowland, Summerfestival, Laundry Day, Legacy Festival, Better Sounds Outdoor, Beachland, Midweekfesten, Summer Fest, Moodstock, Fresh Outdoor, Secret Garden etc…
Nowadays you can also find him as resident dj at clubs such as La Rocca (Lier) and Universal/Cinq5rouge (Hasselt) 

With his new artist name, several new upcoming releases and dozens of confirmed gig’s in the near future, Christophe is ready to take his career to the next level
