About Kiaree
Kiaree Samarian Hines, known professionally known as Kiaree, is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, and entrepreneur from Jacksonville, North Carolina. Kiaree began singing at age 2. At age 4, he became the lead vocalist of North Carolina based singing group New Confidence. The group travel and performed with music icons Boyz II Men, and Adina Howard. On the verge of their first record deal, the group disbanded when 2 members formed a rap group. At such a young age, Kiaree thought that would be the end of his journey as a performer. In 2002, Kiaree was inspiring to start performing again after being heavily influenced by the music of gospel music legends Karen Clark-Sheard and Dorinda Clark-Cole of The Clark Sisters. He began singing at his home church and other local churches, but was unsure where he'd fit in as a gospel artist with most of his influence coming from R&B music. In 2004, Kiaree found his idol, J. Moss. For Kiaree, Moss proved that one could sing gospel music influenced by mainstream music, and give a full production, even in church. It wasn't until 6 years later that Kiaree connected with Moss at a DVD recording in Detroit, and began singing background for him. Kiaree worked in studio and on tour with Moss until 2013 when he decided it was time to start his own journey. Kiaree recorded his first mixtape entitled "This Time It's Different" to signify his return to mainstream music. He was determined to pursue his dream regardless of the negative criticism he'd already began to receive from his gospel music fans. With the release of the mixtape came Kiaree's first sold out concert inside the Crofoot in Pontiac, Mi. Just two years later, Kiaree met Myra Anderson (mother of platinum-selling rapper Big Sean). After hearing his music, she played some of Kiaree's music for Big Sean. Sean graciously allowed Kiaree to open his sold out Finding Paradise concert at the historic Joe Louis Arena in Detroit. That night, Kiaree shared the stage with Big Sean, Eminem, Lil' Wayne, Bryson Tiller, Jhene Aiko, and other music superstars. Days later he released his first EP: 11:11. Kiaree has since headlined several sold out concerts, released his 2nd mixtape "Background Noise", opened for GOOD Music's R&B sensation: Teyana Taylor's sold-out Vii Unplugged Tour, and founded Rare Heart Society. Kiaree's latest single "Play Me 4 a Fool" was produced by platinum-selling composer and producer Joe Otis and has been played over 150,000 times on Soundcloud. Kiaree is currently recording his debut album which is expected late 2017.
