About Tamta

Tamta is a greek artist of pop music. She took part in 2003's Super Idol (Greek Version of "Pop Idol") and finished 2nd. She comes from Georgia and she's got a 14 years old daughter. Life was very difficult in her country and that's why she moved with her daughter and her mother in Greece. After the end of Super Idol she recorded a duet with the winner Stavros Konstantinou, 'Eisai To Allo Mou Miso' (You're my other half) and the song reached #1. Tamta signed to MINOS/EMI and she started preparing for her debut album. She recorded several tracks, and in March "Ftais" (Faraway by Gala) was #1 for many weeks in Greek stations. Her second single is "Den Teleionei Etsi I Agapi" (Love doesn't end like this)which is going up in the charts. Tamta also worked with Mihai Traistariu from Romania and recorded "Tornero / Tromero", a song which was presented in MAD VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS of 2006 and was included in the new version of "Tamta" album.
