Theory of a Deadman

This is the 4th time we've seen Theory, by won't be our last! Great venue with amazing seats in the 16th row! Loved getting to see an amazing new artist, JJ Wilde and looking forward to seeing what she has to offer in her upcoming efforts!!!

Unfortunately we arrived late so we didn’t see the whole concert but this was by far one of the most amazing concerts I’ve been to in a very very long time!!! We were almost right up front and the lead singer of theory of a deadman noticed me which made the whole concert!! Skillet was amazing as usual, I will never ever pass up a chance to see them perform live. Glad to finally be able to check theory of a deadman off of my bucket list! So glad we were able to celebrate my fathers birthday with such amazing bands.

This was my sixth time seeing Theory. This was my favorite one! They don’t try to wow you with theatrics and such, they just come out and play great songs and relate to the audience. A great catalog of unique sounding songs with phenomenal lyrics. I’ll go see this band every chance I get. Only downside was they weren’t the main act.

Amazing show, as always! Even though for some reason Tyler sounded a higher pitch normal (seen them live many times) it was a fabtastic show. Maybe his mic was a different type than usual? Maybe the sound guy was f'd up? Whatever. It was still a blast!

Absolutely brilliant. Great venue. Theory of a Deadman never disappoint. Lighting and sound were great too. From the opening track of Dinosaur to closing with Bad Girlfriend, the crowd were entertained with songs from their back catalogue along with songs from the new album. A band that should not be missed!

Great show from TOAD. A good mix in the set list from the old and new. First time at this venue, we planted our selves behind the sound deck and it was a reasonable view, good sound too. Also really close to the tube station and the Hub. Due to train delays we missed the whole set from Amongst Liars, this was also the reason we stood where we did, as the venue was already quite full.

The crystal clear voice amidst the rock instruments was the key highlight. It sounded better; hearing it live compared to listening to it on Spotify. The music was decently loud and I could feel it throbbing my chest which was really awesome but I feel the music could have been louder. Also I know the tickets were not very expensive but I wish there were some special effects like smoke and fire. Overall, it was a blast for what it costed!

Great show from a great band it was fun and entertaining All around great the sound was little off but it wasn't worrisome still sounded good a little echo at the beginning and the end was just off didn't sound right Also wished it was lpnger but for free or 16 bucks fair and parking well ovet worth it they are a great band ive seen them.4x now 3x at fair once at Sharkey's bar and grill thank you to the band and everyone involved

It was awesome! I got to see the guys from Vancouver again this year. At the Open Space at the National Cherry Festival in Traverse City, Michigan. I first met them in Dallas, Texas. March 15, 2023 at the club called the Factory in Deep Ellum in Dallas. That was another great concert. If you ever have the chance to go see them. That is a must do. You won't regret it. Enjoy the show!

The show was amazing, I hope to see both Theory and Shaman’s Harvest again soon. Originally I had bought the tickets when 10 Years was supposed to be playing with them. I’m really glad I held onto those tickets because I fell in love with two new acts I hadn’t really checked out before.

Theory of a Deadman was excellent! The band was great, the song mix was great, the new & the old! Stage presence was good, and of course Tyler stole the show with his amazing personality .. schmoozing the crowd! Was close enough to catch a guitar pic.. made my night! Come back to The Republic of Van Isle.. we love you!

Great show by Theory! Tokyo monsters were surprisingly good. Not for Nothing was wrong genre of music for this show; however musically they sounded good. Noah’s reign opened show on a great note. The bad - Batavia staff allowed non premium ticket holders access to premium area just prior to Theory going on. Why should $10 GA ticket holders get $50 premium seat???? Those extra premium seats should have been offered to VIP ticket holders first. I was there at 4:30 to get my VIP seat then watched GA ticket holders who just showed up at 7:45 get premium seating in front of me. Seems wrong! Batavia management should reconsider this type of action.

Awesome show. I’m not sure what happened to Tyler’s voice but dayum. There was no bass at all. Talk Was he had vocal cord surgery. It was really hard listening to the older songs that had that raspy deep voice. But other than that we had a great time. Hope it’s something that is gonna heal for him. Definitely not the performer he was 3 years ago. Get well. Best wishes.

We enjoyed the show by TOAD, but the sound was terrible! Lead vocal mic drowned out by bass & guitar vocals, lots of feedback & the whole set at a pitch that would drive canines to insanity. Will be trying to avoid gigs in Academy 2 from now on

Long awaited return to Scotland by Theory with a new album to tour. A slight change in direction for the new album but still a quality release. The set list included old and new and the band were on fantastic form. Let's hope they return again soon.

When tickets were first purchased on the venue's website, it was not listed that this was going to be an acoustic show. Had I known that this was going to be 'unplugged', I probably would have passed on this show. As a long time fan of the band, and never been to the small, more intimate venue, I kept an open mind. They cranked out several hits, old and new. The guys sounded great, even having played a show the night before, and this was the last stop of the tour. The drums, keyboards, and bass created a much fuller sound when added to the acoustic guitars. It seemed only partially 'unplugged'. Personally, it was difficult to just sit in the nicely padded chairs to watch the performance. By the time they ended with their biggest hit, seat bouncing and foot tapping was just not enough. Finally on my feet, I could no longer contain my inner rock and roll.The concert lasted 1.5 hours, which included returning to the stage for a 2 song encore. I was a little disappointed they did not play hits such as 'Me and My Girl' and 'Bitch Came Back', and a couple others. If the band was not willing to play a full 2 hours, then there should have been some sort of opening act. We had traveled 2 hours, waited an hour (in the cold) for the doors to open, and spent premium prices for tickets. Overall the show was good, just a tad of a letdown, and left us wanting more.

I lost count of how many times I've seen theory of a Deadman but this by far was my favorite show!! great music, cool venue. and we got to meet the band!! (met them 15 years ago on their first tour.) well worth the 2 hour drive!! hope to see them again soon!

They rocked! Such a bad ass concert! Our seats were closer than we thought, and since it was at the fair it was more of an intimate concert. Like the band was so close to all of us and they really connected with the crowd. It was great. 100% will be seeing them again when they come back around!(:

It was the second time I saw Artifas at Upstate Concert hall and again the didn't disappoint with the energy and music they bring. Aranda was missing their regular lead guitar player and singer.. still rocked but not quite the same. We are Harlot and Theory of a dead man were fun but both seemed a bit road weary as both bands mentioned a few times how long they have been on the road. All in all a great show, not the best I've seen there but the place rocked and they have SN Torpedo in 16 iz cans : )
