About F.O.D.
F.O.D. is synonymous with catchy, honest, melodic punk rock that speaks straight from the heart. Their music, a testament to their passion, can be explored in the discography below.
The journey began with the release of their debut EP, ‘Dance To This!’ in 2011, marking F.O.D.’s emergence as a household name in the Belgian punk rock scene. Infusing their sound with harmonies and catchy melodies, the band draws inspiration from legendary 90s predecessors like Green Day, Descendents, Lagwagon, and Bad Religion while adding their unmistakable twist. The instant pop-punk anthem ‘Carry On’ from their first video swiftly became a scene classic.
Over the next decade, F.O.D. expanded their influence to the international punk rock scene. Three albums were released on labels across Europe, the US, Canada, and Japan. The band’s live reputation grew steadily, with performances at major festivals, impressive supports, and international tours spanning Canada, Europe, and Japan.
Their fourth full album, “SLEEPVILLE,” marked a departure from conventional punk rock boundaries, offering listeners an experimental, story-telling journey. Unfortunately, the global pandemic interrupted their trajectory.
Amid the COVID time-out, F.O.D. took a low profile, dedicating their time to revival and the creation of new material. In 2024, a new album will be born, returning to the pure essence of alternative rock and punk rock. With big plans on the horizon, the band is gearing up for an extensive European tour, inviting audiences to experience their raw and authentic sound once again.
