Moonshade

Hailing from Oporto (Portugal), Moonshade are the new face of melodic death metal, bringing a charismatic and deeply personal sound signature to the genre. The band's first demo, The Path Of Redemption, was released online in 2011, shortly followed by the Dream | Oblivion EP, their first physical release. This concept work was brought to the masses in shows that allowed Moonshade to share the stage with the likes of Amorphis, Heaven Shall Burn and Within Temptation, to name a few. In 2018, their critically acclaimed magnum opus, Sun Dethroned, was released via Art Gates Records, resulting in two sold out concerts in Lisbon and Porto, an iberian tour that took the band throughout Portugal, Spain and the Basque Country, as well as other shows that featured names such as Omnium Gatherum and Decapitated. More alive than ever, Currently, Moonshade are recording their next release, due sometime mid-2021. Thus, they persist in their ongoing rampage through the metal scene, musically redefining the beauty in chaos, death and despair.
