Scope & Figure

Scope & Figure is a four-piece indie rock outfit based in Rochester, New York. Founded in 2013, their music fuses elements of indie rock and dance pop, while drawing further sonic inspiration from the psychedelic, punk, and math rock genres. Their unique sound has a dance-inducing “feel that everyone can get behind” and caters to their electrifying, live performances. Since 2014 they have toured throughout the US performing at a multitude of venues, colleges, and festivals. They have also shared stages with popular acts such as Ra Ra Riot, The Griswolds, Pinegrove, Vundabar, Krill, Free Throw , Roz and The Rice Cakes, Maybird, Yonatan Gat, Ratboys, Modern Chemistry, Sam Kogon, and Comfy. In April 2015, they released their second EP, Exemplary Sports Magic, on cassette through Rochester, NY-based indie label, Dadstache Records. This record, along with their independently released first EP, Really Good Time, were met with exceptionally positive reviews from critics, and garnered fervent interest in the band from numerous blogs and media outlets. In 2016, the band crowdfunded and released their debut full-length album entitled, Gardiner Park, and once again toured in support of the record amid rave reviews and radio play. https://www.sonicbids.com/band/scope-figure
