About Dani Hageman
About 5 years ago Rotterdam (NL) born producer Dani Hageman decided to leave his Muzikjunki moniker and continue under his real name, being the logical reaction to the evolution of both his sound and the scene.
His Muzikjunki alter ego saw him travel the world by playing at top notch clubs and festivals such as Space, Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Dance Valley and Solar festival, next to releasing music on Ministry of Sound, Spinnin’, Black Hole, Stealth, CR2 and Ultra to name but a few.
In 2013 Dani decided to move to Moscow, where he enjoys life and holds a bi-monthly residency at Propaganda, a legendary club and proven breeding ground for artists like Nina Kravic and Sergey Sanchez. Next to that he currently holds a monthly residency at 69 Club in Moscow.
With his productions regularly topping the Beatport charts 2015 was an amazing year. With 6 tracks in the top 100, including 2 top 10 positions, he also found himself at the #15 spot in the top selling nu-disco artists chart, whereas in 2016 he ended up on the #37 position.
His 2015 monsterhit single 'Hello' on Prison Entertainment was one of the most played and Shazam-ed tracks worldwide. It reached the #2 spot on Beatport and has been charted in the BP top 100 for a whopping 320 days in a row, being one of the longest notations in the chart.
Recent labels include Prison Entertainment, Witty Tunes, Heavenly Bodies, OKO records, Azari records, Sullivan Room Records and Black Hole recordings, whereas his tracks get regular support by the likes
of Tapesh, Kolombo, Loulou Players, Loverdose, EDX, Rene Amesz, Randall Jones, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Umek, Natema, Saccau, Croatia Squad, Sugar Hill and then some.
2017 promises to be another great year with fresh releases up his sleeve next to the launch of a brand new label. Therefore keep an eye on Dani Hageman and do check him out doing what he loves doing best; entertaining crowds with original work, cheeky bootlegs and sought after mashups.
