Sietske and band - contemporary vocal jazz with singer-songwriter influences

In the words of Frank Huser (Jazzflits) on their first album "Where it starts again" brought out by Berthold Records and Do Right! Japan. The band is an Amsterdam based international formation consisting of vocalist Sietske Roscam Abbing (NL), pianist Dirk Balthaus (DE, guitarist Eran Har Even (ISR) bass player Marco Zenini (IT) and drummer Efraim Schulz-Wackerbarth (AUS/D). The project exists in its current formation since 2012.
"a landscape of the mind by the Dutch singer Sietske, as heard on Where it starts again - a superb and soulful album" (Thomas Haak, Nord Deutcher Rundfunk).
This line is being continued on their second album in which the five musicians find a new balance between challenging and complementing each other within the layered arrangements of new original compositions, leading to a colourful landscape which seduces, entrances and surprises...
