Greg Friia

Maryland native Greg Friia was always convinced he was living on the wrong coast. And he was right.......sort of. What he thought was Los Angeles calling, turned out to be somewhere in the middle........Nashville, TN! Greg's passion and rich talent for songwriting led him there in 2001 and he hasn't looked back. "It was a night at The Bluebird Cafe' with D. Vincent Williams that put everything in perspective. I knew I had to be here", says Greg, and he has taken advantage of every moment since. Greg has an impressive list of collaborators including, Eric Paslay, Casey Beathard, Marc Beeson, Danielle Peck, Felix Cavaliere, Bill Champlin, Robbie Nevil, Kevin Savigar & Oliver Leiber in addition to his core of up and coming contemporaries. Greg has had songs recorded by Bonnie Tyler, Richie McDonald, Eric Paslay, Brady Seals, LoCASH & earned his first Top 5 song on the Billboard Dance Chart for the song "Body Needs" recorded by Consuelo Costin. He currently writes for Sea The Desert Entertainment and is the President of the Starbucks sponsored show "Songwriters Singing For Coffee.
