Joe Jackson is one of those artists that you never tire of hearing.He pulls from such a diverse catalog of music that there are all ways gems in every set. In LA the other night he spoke about how he loved the Orpheum theater and how it's history of Vaudeville influenced England's music.He played the song from the only movie he's ever starred in as a piano player in the early 1900's."The greatest game ever played" and the song was "Hello, Hello, Who's your lady friend" It was brilliant !The band he tours with is just fantastic. Solid all the way around.I don't know how much longer Joe will tour, but I'll be at every one when he comes to LA. He's a class act !

Great show lots of surprises with new arraignment of all time classic and an impromptu performance of a song he performed in a movie . Overall great show

Jackson was in fine voice and his band was top notch! He did a good mix of songs from the last 40 years. You can’t get what you want and king of the city were highlights!

Excellent concert. Sounded great! Was very personable. The venue is amazing! Would have given 5 stars but he did not play anything from his swing album.

Great show. Crazy that in his 40 year career, this was the first time I have seen him live. An intimate show for the 1200 fans at PDA. A playlist that had something for everyone, from his 1979 debut to cuts from his most recent release .

Good night of memories and music. 4 piece band with Joe on keyboards and lead vocals. Good sounding band, loved the song choices. But would have loved a small 3 piece horn section at times. Overall a good night with good old and new tunes.

Joe had a nice clean performance and the Scottish Rite Auditorium was an awesome venue. Was a little disappointed that he did not play “Look Sharp” or “On Your Radio” which are two of his best old songs though.

I’ve seen Joe Jackson six times and he is always superb. I have never seen him have so much fun as he did last night. I desperately hope he returns to Richmond.

Joe Jackson was brilliant! This concert exceeded my expectations. Joe's voice was excellent and his musicianship unmatched. The band featured the amazing bassist Grant Maby who has played with Joe since the beginning. The set list was especially satisfying. As for the venue, The Carolina Theater, it was just beautiful and the sound was exceptional!

Joe and his band were flat out amazing. Sound was excellent. The seated GA was absolute garbage. Hence the 4 stars instead of 5. And also while I'll never see another show there if that's how they roll.

I would have enjoyed it more if weren't for the two tween dweebs who clear didn't give a damn about seeing Joe Jackson. Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Dana from Homeland, I'm talking to you! Your waste of space took two seats (Front row, $85 Tickets!) which could have sat two fans who actually gave a crap about seeing a concert and not brought empty snark. You are a part of the WORST GENERATION EVER. You stand for nothing and are nothing. My worldview of your generation worsened while I sat next to your worthless asses. My thoughts grew darker during the concert and I blame you. And your parents are even worse for enabling you for the entire two hours instead of telling you to shut the hell up! So thanks for fucking nothing.

Wonderful gig; his 50th in this serie. Great band and nice choice of songs.Two covers; Big yellow taxi of Joni Mitchell and the Peter Gunn Theme (with lyrics!).And a beautiful version of Slow Song as final encore. Joe rocked the crowd!

Wow! Even better than the first show of the tour in Seattle! He still has most of his range and the sound tonight was incredible. Waves of high energy songs that he doesn't always do anymore. Several changes to the set list. Loved every minute!

the beginning was a little shaky. his voice sounded like he was losing it. but then it got better and he rocked it out. great mix of old and new. told some great stories. I'd go again if I could.

Great sound, band was tight. Docked one star as a speaker blocked my view and i couldn't see Joe's head. Played most of the old songs (wanted Don't wanna be like that and Got The Time) , cool cover of Big Yellow Taxi. Overall a must see for any JJ fan.

Joe, was his own warm up band and had each member of the band subtly join in as he progressed to the main venue. Loved his older songs and covers. Loved the guitar , Bass by Graham Maby and an awesome drummer. The Fast forward songs actually slowed down the pace then Joe made up for it with his Bowie and McCartney covers. Also his EP's over the last decade. I was disappointed as it was originally advertised as a tribute to Duke Ellington which did not occur. Alas Joe did not disappoint and sang his Slow Song as his finale. Bravo to JJ.

Fantastic show! Joe's voice was testing him as it was the last stop of his American tour. Fought through like a veteran entertainer and delivered as expected.
