I just happened to be in Kalispell and ended up at Sacred Waters Brewing for a couple of beers. Never heard of Winnie Brave and not exactly a country music fan, but wow.
, they were great. Her voice is incredible and pretty unique. Wish they would come to southeast Virginia sometime.

Winnie Brave is a foot stompin' Americana/Roots duo comprised of Amy McIsaac (vocals/guitar) and "one-man-band" Brad McIsaac (bass/foot drums/keys). Established in 2012, this husband-and-wife team hail from Holden, Alberta. With two albums under their belts and thousands of shows played throughout Canada and the USA, this highly-entertaining and energetic duo are a sonic force to be reckoned with.
"Amy's studious, hard-working phrasing, poignant tremolo, and cord-chopping willingness on her Gibson resonate out through the listeners like waves of goosebumps. And, Brad, a bass guy who works the upper reaches of that neck like a lead dude, while thumping and snaring time toe-and-heel like you've never seen. He's real busy and really good at all that. The adoring looks they exchange could be poured on pancakes."
