Kendis

Kendis, is a 15-year-old Dutch DJ/Producer from The Hague. Her love for music started at a young age, she was always playing, listening and making music. Kendis started to DJ when she was already 9 yrs old inspired by her cousin, well known DJ/Producer, Sandro Silva. But really decided to become one after an accident with a bus in oktober 2013 when she was 11. She injured her arm and still has difficulties fully stretching it, but during her recovery became determined to become a successful DJ. She started taking DJ lessons at the Pioneer DJ School in April 2014 and took courses in music production with Ableton at Pyntago. Which led to an item for Dutch TV program Zapp Weekjournaal and a meeting with Hardwell during ADE 2014. And the next year she was the youngest performing artist at ADE 2015, which was featured on Dutch TV station SBS6. With her everlasting passion, bursting energy and lust for ambition Kendis has already performed at Amsterdam Dance Event, SAIL Amsterdam, Festival Mondo Verde, Kings Night Amersfoort, Weert Dance Event, Station Dance, Bevrijdingsfestival The Hague, A Day At The Park Amsterdam, Streetstylecon Dusseldof Germany, Solar Weekend Festival and has performed in several clubs all over the Netherlands, Belgium en Germany. She did gigs for Pioneer and Coach Sneaker Stores and has performed with artists like Oliver Twizt, Lucky Charmes, DJ Snake and SFB, I Am Aisha, Dyna, Martin Garrix, Silento, Run DMC, Freddy Morreira, Broederliefde and many more. She has been featured in Metro News (NL), Thump Magazine (NL), Het Algemeen Dagblad (NL), Het Belang van Limburg (Bel) MTV Style Germany Big FM Germany,FunX Radio, ADE Radio, Hoxton FM, InsomniaFM and St. Maarten 's number 1 radiostation X1043 FM. When Kendis is not sharing her energy behind the wheels of steel, she devotes her time in her studio to produce her own tracks. Her first track Just Got Paid is released in March 2016.
