Enemy Of Reality is a symphonic metal band. They were formed in 2013 when Iliana, known from her participation at "The Great Mass" by SepticFlesh decided to form a band combining a variety of influences and they created their debut album “Rejected Gods” in less than a year (June 2014, FYB Records). The album consists of 11 tracks, all in the symphonic metal style featuring operatic vocals and progressive elements. Lyrically, it was inspired by many every day themes, and also a tetralogy based on the Hellenic myth of Orpheus & Eurydice. Also, the album features guest performances by: Christos Antoniou (SepticFlesh, Chaostar), Ailyn Giménez (Sirenia), Mike LePond (Symphony X), Androniki Skoula (Chaostar) and Maxi Nil (Jaded Star, ex-Visions of Atlantis). The album was highly acclaimed by critics and the public and led EoR to perform in many festivals throughout Europe such as: -Metal Female Voices Fest (Belgium) 2014 edition,along with Therion, The Sirens, Leaves' Eyes, Xandria, Delain and more, -Dames Of Darkness festival (UK) as the main support to Leaves' Eyes. -Artmania Festival (Ro) as opening act for Saturnus and Anathema. -Anneke Van Giersbergen (GR) as main support. -Uli John Roth ( ex-Scorpions ) (GR) as main support. -SepticFlesh (GR) as main support. -Gus G ( Firewind,Ozzy ) (GR) as opening act -Maximum Fest ( RO) along with Epica, Sirenia, Annihilator and more -Metal Female Voices Fest (Belgium) 2016 edition, along with Tarja, Tristania and many more. -Rage (GR) main support Their new album is out , under the name “Arakhne” (FYB Records) . It 's a concept album based on the ancient Hellenic myth of the spider's origins and creation. It is recorded by George Emmanuel (Rotting Christ) and Mark Adrian, and mastered by George Emmanuel as well. The artwork is designed by Tony Midi Artworks (Papa Roach, Asking Alexandria, Suicide Silence, Parkway Drive) and it features guest performances by: Jeff Waters (Annihilator), Fabio Lione (ex-Rhapsody Of Fire, Angra) and Chiara Malvestiti (Therion/ Crysalys). They presented "Arakhne" live at the MFVF XIII in October 2016, sharing the stage with artists such as Tarja, Leaves' Eyes, Tristania, Mayan and Liv Kristine among others. They played with Mike Le Pond (Symphony X), Chiara Malvestiti (Therion), Maxi Nil (Jaded Star) and Kassy Thor Novellainen (Mercy Isle) as guests.
