Woodlander

Based out of Northern California, folk/pop singer and songwriter, Josh Woodlander combines acoustic guitar, vocals, and ambient electronica into a uniquely soulful blend of American heartland music with influences of ambient, folk, soul, reggae and African music. Coined the “Denim Shaman”, Woodlander is a unique musical artist who improvises multi-instrumental tracks (via looper pedal) chords, melodies and lyrics in real time in the sonic form of a buddhist sand painting never to be repeated. All live music on this site was inspired in the moment — no chords, instrumentation or lyrics were rehearsed and all tracks are the raw recording with no post-production or effects added.
