Bethany Bordeaux

Bethany was born in Ft. Worth, Texas in 1982, just two and a half years before she began to play the violin. She spent her first ten years studying classical violin with the late Helen Robertson, a 50 year veteran of the Ft. Worth Symphony, who not only nurtured her technically, but also instilled in her a passion for music. Bethany has been performing almost as long as she has been playing. In her sophomore year of college she began to branch out from her precise classical training to worship music, bluegrass, and other genres. In August of 2006, she moved to Nashville, TN to broaden her musical horizons. She currently plays with Christian author/songwriter Kelly Minter, serves on the worship team at St. Bartholomew's Church, and freelances for artists including Laura Story and Andrew Peterson. She released her debut instrumental album, Songs From Along The Way: A Live Recording, in December 2013 that CCM magazine gave 4 stars and kind words. She and her husband Keith have a baby girl named Clare and the whole family enjoys traveling, reading, being outdoors, and spending time with their cat and flock of backyard chickens.
