Jacopo Ferrari

BIO ENG Jacopo Ferrari was born in Verona in 1987. He has been always bound with the music, especially because of his father who was a guitarist and his mother who was a radio-speaker. In 2011 he came out with his first release ever on renowned Milan-based label “Traxacid” and he straight received positive feedbacks. In 2012 he signed many tracks on Italian top label “Natura Viva” (Nicole Moudaber, Dubfire, Sam Paganini, Carlo Lio). In 2014, after many supports from the likes of Marco Carola and Richie Hawtin, Jacopo released “Mi Playa EP” on Natura Viva’s sublabel “WTF MUSIC?!” (Oscar L, George Privatti, Cuartero, Adrian Hour): the EP contains two great remixes from Angelo Raguso (Spinnin’ / Hotfingers / Florida / ElRow) and Danilo Trombino (Natura Viva). During those years, Jacopo has played in clubs such as Alterego, Pika Future Club, Odissea and Bolgia he shared the dj booth with some of the hottest names in the worldwide scene like Maceo Plex, Jeff Mills, Nina Kraviz, Pan-Pot, Ilario Alicante and Len Faki just to name a few… Jacopo has also played in great clubs all around Europe (Spain, England) and in the summer of 2015 he played at the famous “Minus After-Party” at Ambasada Gavioli in Slovenia hanging with Richie Hawtin’s crew. In 2014 he found his own label called “Reverse Music” where he focuses all of his attentions and in which he puts commitment and dedication. This project perfectly joins his prolific works in the studio with his stable activity as a dj. 2015 was another big year for Jacopo: he had the chance to became a regular resident dj in two of the biggest clubs in Verona like “Berfis” and “Aquario” and 2016 seems to be another great year… BIO ITA Jacopo Ferrari nasce a Verona nel 1987. Fin da bambino è legato alla Musica: suo padre chitarrista e sua madre speaker radiofonica contribuiscono notevolmente a far maturare questo suo particolare interesse. Nel 2011 esordisce nel panorama musicale rilasciando una traccia sulla famosa etichetta milanese Traxacid, sulla quale riceve subito buoni feedback e apprezzamenti. Nel 2012 compie un altro importante passo, siglando la sua musica sulla top label ‘Natura Viva’ (dove troviamo tra l’altro artisti come Nicole Moudaber, Dubfire, Sam Paganini e Carlo Lio). Due anni dopo si trova di nuovo a collaborare con ‘Natura Viva’: la sua traccia ‘Mi Playa’ (con remix di Angelo Raguso e Danilo Trombino) compare nel suo EP su ‘WTF?! Music’ (Oscar L, George Privatti, Cuartero, Adrian Hour). Durante questi anni Jacopo ha avuto l’opportunità di suonare in clubs come Alterego, Pika Future Club, Odissea e Bolgia, condividendo la console con alcuni dei nomi più caldi della scena mondiale come Maceo Plex, Jeff Mills, Nina Kraviz, Pan-Pot, Ilario Alicante e Len Faki per citarne alcuni… Oltre ad aver partecipato a famosi eventi in Spagna ed Inghilterra, nell’estate del 2015 ha avuto l’onore di suonare all’after-party dell’etichetta ‘Minus’ (Richie Hawtin) all’Ambasada Gavioli in Slovenia. Nel 2014 fonda inoltre la sua personale etichetta “Reverse Music” alla quale dedica gran parte del suo tempo: il progetto si rivela da subito un ottimo crossover tra la sua attività in studio come produttore e quella di dj nei clubs. All’interno della sua Reverse possiamo trovare nomi come Macromism, Hollen, Wurtz, Loui Fernandez, Alberto Tolo e molti altri. Sempre su Reverse è uscita la sua collaborazione con il talento napoletano Tony Dee (supportato e suonato da Carl Cox, Joseph Capriati e Loco Dice) chiamata ‘Acting Out’. Nel 2016 Jacopo ha anche l’opportunità di vedere la sua musica su altre due grandi etichette come Yaiza Records e Monique Musique. NERVOUS - FLASHMOB - NATURA VIVA - MONIQUE MUSIQUE
