About Ocean Breeze Tropical Club
Ocean Breeze Tropical Club is a ska/reggae/hardcore band from Brazil formed in 2013.
The band's philosophy is in the production and composition of songs that go beyond sound frequencies, exploring textures and nuances, ranging from the heavier distorted guitar to the softer sax solo. Without prejudice to rhythms or ideas, Ocean Breeze develops a work that is not restricted to only a sound or style strand, so that it becomes a true creative laboratory for its members.
The first EP recorded was "Life's Better When You're High" released in 2015. Composed of 08 songs entirely copyrighted, four of them later released as music video: Burning Down Babylon, Ska De La Frontera, Light It Up, Aint No Fucking DJ, the album features a mix of reggae, with a slight influence of ska, plus a flirt with hardcore and funk.
The second launched EP: "What Is In Your Front Of You Is Not What You See", was released in December 2017. It shows an evolution and, at the same time, retains the same income as the first, ie , a mixture of many rhythms and strands, giving continuity to the work developed until then by the band. The video for the first track is already available on youtube: Take It All.
Band members: Felipe Lindstron (trombone, guitar and vocals), Gustavo Comin (guitar and vocals), Kadu Hidalgo (saxophone), Renan Henche (bass and vocals) and Ricardo Marvin (Drums and vocals).
The band today is sponsored by clothing brand Fuss Company and represented by Louie Records, that produced the second album.
