Sakis Dovolis "Trio"

Sakis Dovolis borned and raised in Kozani, Greece on October 29, 1988.
He is a Blues-Rock guitar player, singer and songwriter.
The blues have attracted his interest from the early years of his preoccupation with the guitar. As a true Blues - Rock lover, Sakis, combines Stevie Ray Vaughan’s and Joe Bonamassa’s explosive techniques with his influences from the new generation of Texas Blues players like Lance Lopez and Wes Jeans. Combining all those things with his own musical personality and his highly advanced guitar skills, he has formed a unique technique that featured him as one of the greatest Blues/Rock guitarists in Greece.
Sakis was the founder and the leader of a well-knowned Blues band in Greece, called THE BLUESBONE BAND for 4 years. He has been collaborated, among others, with two of the greatest Blues guitar players in Greece, Elias Zaikos and Nick Dounousis, with the Blues legend Louisiana Red, and with the symphonic orchestra of Aristoteleio University of Thessaloniki. He also won the 1st price on a Hellenic Blues guitar contest back in 2012. Sakis is also the organizer of the “1st Blues Meeting” which took place in his hometown, Kozani.
Right now, he is recording his 1st solo album called “Introduction”. Through the years and until now, he gave several concerts in all over Greece and out of the Greek borders very successfully.
He also teaches electric guitar at the Demetrios Demopoulos conservatory in Kozani, he has Harmony, Counterpoint and Fugue degrees and he is among the teachers of the International Music Seminar of Kozani, teaching Blues music.
