Jipsi was an amazing duo to watch. The vocals were gritty and mystical and reminded me of not only Stevie Nicks, but also Janis Joplin and a little Bonnie Raitt weaved into the sound. Her and Andy are so in tune with each other with his guitar acoustics and the way they can add story telling and background seamlessly into their music. The best part was the crazy fun song “Jesus lives in Mexico.” They got the crowd up dancing and singing along and made it truly feel like a great party to be a part of. If you get a chance, definitely go see them because they are one of those bands that you just know you will see on the major concert scene soon.
