Originally conceived as a studio project with the goal of recreating old WEEN demos & studio outtakes , ManG has grown into a nationwide Touring Tribute, boasting a song list of well over 100 classics & counting. Since performing their first show under the ManG moniker in mid 2013 ,the boys have been steamrolling ecstatic audiences from New Jersey to Colorado hitting many major cities and tiny towns in between... 2015 has been an especially good year so far as the boys were selected to perform at the 1st annual "Brown Bash" in Cleveland Ohio which was promoted in part by Mickey "Dean Ween" Melchiondo. Pleased with what he saw in ManG at the Brown Bash, Deaner had also gifted the band the backing tracks for "Hey Fatboy " he had intended to use on the "All request live" album but it didn't make the record. So in essence, when ManG performs "Hey Fatboy" it's like Jamming with Deaner... at least that's how he put it. Natural evolution has seen ManG cover WEEN from the very beginning (demo days, pre- GWS) to the very end of their recording career and have established a reputation for being a stellar live band with the gusto to slay audiences with 3 hour shows and still leaving them wanting more,( They have been back to Asheville NC 5 times in 18 months). The concept is really simple....True old school WEEN fans connecting with true old school WEEN fans... It doesn't get much better .... \m/ ManG is a NJ based band. We play the brownest, heaviest and most obscure music written & recorded by WEEN ~ We shall strive to pay reverence, do their music justice and assist in keeping its legacy alive.
