About Starkid
Adam Spears aka Starkid was a talented electronic music producer from Nagadoches, Texas.
He produced beautiful tunes such as Crayons, who was featured on Nick Warren's Global Underground double cd "Reykjavik".
Crayons is the only single he released as Starkid, while together with Blak Jarrel he produced a song called Apricot, for 3 beat breaks records.
He unfortunately died on July the 31st, 2004, in a car accident.
A few days after his death, someone uploaded a lot of unfinished tracks from him on a website, songs like Winterblue, which is in the same style of Crayons (prog-house), and a lot of other nice tunes that go far from the specific progressivehouse/breaks style.
In 2004 Release Records released another Crayons single, with two remixes from Leama and Moor and MV.
Starkid keeps living in our hearts.
